Welcome to Notre Dame Middle School

Notre Dame Middle School has expanded!

Notre Dame Primary School has opened! It currently serves grades K5 through 1st starting with the 2012-13 school year. The new primary school campus is located at 1115 S. 7th St. in the St. Patrick Parish school building, seven blocks from the current facility.

The doors officially opened in August with two K5 and two 1st grade classes, with approximately 20 students per class. The school will then add two additional classes each year so that it is a full K5 through 4th grade school by the 2015-16 school year. The co-educational, dual immersion school is meant to feed into Notre Dame Middle School and other outstanding schools on the near Southside of Milwaukee.

We did it again! Excellent 2011-12 WKCE test scores

Wisconsin Knowledge Concepts Exam scores show that for the second year in a row, Notre Dame students are achieving excellent outcomes as shown in the chart below.

Testing data supports rationale for expansion

Notre Dame Middle School is proud to announce that its students are achieving phenomenal results, as evidenced by the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) and the Wisconsin Knowledge Concepts Exam (WKCE). This is the second year that all schools (including Choice and Charter) across the state have taken the WKCE.

Notre Dame Middle School continues to enroll K5 and 1st grade students for the 2012-13 school year at the new primary school at 7th and Washington. If you have children this age, or know anyone that does, please join us for an open house on Saturday, May 12 from 8:30- 10:00 a.m.at 1420 W. Scott Street to learn more and enroll.
