About Notre Dame Middle School

Notre Dame Middle School (NDMS) was founded in 1996 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, who have over 175 years of commitment to the education vision that the world can be changed through the transformation of persons, especially young women.  With the purpose of providing an exceptional educational experience to underserved girls in the rapidly growing heart of Milwaukee’s Hispanic community, NDMS is based on a model of intensive academic preparation with small classes, individual and group tutoring, and an extended day with mandatory after-school programming of study and enrichment activities.

Although we serve grades five through eight, NDMS makes a long term commitment to students by helping place them in college-preparatory high schools and then supporting and monitoring their performance into post-secondary education and beyond.  NDMS is a place of excellence where students can achieve their potential in their academic, creative, personal, physical, moral and spiritual development.  We are clearly focused on preparing our students for the world of today, not only through academic excellence, but also through instilling spiritual values and a sense of responsibility.

NDMS prepares you for the future. The teachers help you make the right decisions and they teach you how to be responsible and respectful.
