Notre Dame Middle School is dedicated to empowering at-risk, young women to overcome socio-economic obstacles and pursue lifelong learning, leadership and service to our community. But we can't do it alone! We count on our students' and their parents' commitment to their education, our dedicated teachers and staff, the generous time commitment of our volunteers and financial support from private sources. Below find a few specific ways to help make one of our wishes come true.

Adopt-A-Student

$13,000 per student for 1 year
$54,000 per student for 4 years

"Adopting-a-student" would underwrite the costs of educating 1 student at Notre Dame Middle School, which includes after school and graduate support programming.

Adopt-A-Class

$260,000 per class for one year

"Adopting-a-class" would underwrite the costs of educating 20 students at Notre Dame Middle School, which includes after school and graduate support programming.

NDMS School Uniforms

$100 per student
$2,000 for an entire class of 20 students

NDMS After School Uniforms (sweat suits)

$50 per student

$1,000 for an entire class of 20 students


Technology Fund

Notre Dame middle School strives to be in line with the most recent classroom technology, providing different and engaging ways for our students to learn.

$7,500 Annual Computer Upgrade

NDMS has a computer lab with 32 Dell desktop computers, along with another 30 computers for staff and faculty. Every year, we upgrade the 10 oldest computers to avoid problems with out-of-date technology systems.


Graduate Support Program

To ensure none of our students slip through the cracks once they go on high school, NDMS requires participation in the Graduate Support Program. We offer financial aid, guidance and a quiet place to study during the week.

$10,000 one year of tuition at a private Catholic high school in Milwaukee

$3,000 for 3 new laptops for the Graduate Support study room


After School Enrichment Program

All students are required to participate in the After-School Enrichment Program from 3:30-6 p.m., Monday-Thursday to keep them safe and engaged in learning during the often unsupervised after-school hours. Students are exposed to 8 different activities over the course of the school year and NDMS is always looking for different opportunities to reinforce classroom lessons or height students’ skill development. NDMS also ensures each student has the opportunity to attend at least two weeks of summer camps.

$5,000 for programming expenses to bring in activities like Zumba, “Girls on the Run,” Science Exploration field trips at the Milwaukee Public Museum, Mad Hot Milwaukee Ballroom and more

$350 for 1 week of overnight summer camp for 1 student

$150 for 1 week of summer day camp for 1 student

$1,500 per year healthy snacks

Capital Expenses

$25,000 - New van to transport students to and from various activities throughout the school day, summer, weekends and in the evening for after-school enrichment and graduate support programs.

$100,000 to upgrade heating system in original school building, which is over 100 years old
